Galaxia Gaming TCG acts as an intermediary for PSA grading services and may perform minor restoration techniques to improve grading outcomes. However, there is no guarantee of a higher grade, and restoration carries risks of damage.
Although an assessment of a trading card’s condition varies from person to person, we do our best to give you an accurate assessment. We do this by following the condition standards set by one of the largest and most reputable trading card resellers in the world: TCGPlayer.
Our team is also equipped with tools that aid in the assessment process such as LED magnifying lights and experience with grading companies like Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA).

CARD CLEANING WORKFLOW

Premium Tier: This tier offers enhanced cleaning techniques, including the use of humidors, soft pen tools for minor creases, and pressure plates for flattening cards. Additionally, cards in this are returned in semi-rigid top loaders and sleeves compliant with PSA submission procedures. The PSA Grading Kit, which prepares the package for immediate shipment to PSA, can be added for an additional $1.50 per card across all tiers.
Buyback Program: We determine the market value using TCGPlayer.com sales data across a 5-10 “Last Sold” card average. The customer is offered 75% of this calculated value.
Insurance Requirement: Insurance is mandatory for all submissions, covering the total declared value of the cards being cleaned.
Turnaround Times and Adjustments: While we provide estimated turnaround times for each tier (Cadet: 35 business days, Advanced: 25 business days, Premium: 15 business days), these are subject to change based on service demand, with potential adjustments in pricing and processing times as necessary.
Damage and Cleaning Process: Upon receiving the cards, a high-resolution scan is performed before cleaning. Please note that the scans are performed in the exact state as they were received in. The cleaning process is recorded for auditing and entertainment purposes. If any non-removable damage is identified, we will notify the customer and provide a post-cleaning scan highlighting the affected areas. Any non-removable damage that has been identified will not be subject to a partial refund of services.

Risks Involved: There are inherent risks in the card cleaning process, such as the potential removal of card stock while cleaning, accidental spillage of distilled water, and possible damage during movement between cleaning stations. These risks are acknowledged upfront.
No Guarantee of Perfect Grade: It’s difficult to predict a card's PSA grade before cleaning. For the Advanced and Premium tiers, the PSA grade assessment is only provided after the cleaning process. Customers are expected to trust Galaxia Gaming TCG's expertise in grading, and disagreements with the assessment do not qualify for a refund.
Documentation Process: Customers will receive access to high-resolution scans via a private Google Drive link, ensuring they can review the condition of their cards before, during, and after cleaning. Additionally, a public video documenting the process will be available for auditing and entertainment purposes, with customer anonymity maintained unless otherwise requested.
No Refund Policy: Once payment is completed and all questions are addressed, there are no refunds. In case of issues during transit, the purchased insurance will cover potential damages or losses.
Timeline of Card Cleaning: If the cleaning process exceeds the estimated timeline, Galaxia Gaming TCG will proactively reach out to offer options tailored to the situation, prioritizing the customer’s satisfaction and ensuring a positive experience.

Payment Confirmation: Once payment is completed through Square, you will receive a confirmation email. This email serves as your receipt and acknowledgment that the payment process is finalized.
Shipping Instructions: You will receive detailed documentation on how to prepare your cards for submission according to PSA standards. This is meant to familiarize you with the process and ensure that your cards are properly protected during transit.
Shipping Address: The shipping address is included in the contract, and you will also receive specific shipping instructions. These instructions may include additional details to include with your package, ensuring a smooth delivery process.
Insurance Determination: The total declared value of your submission should be determined using TCGPlayer.com during the quote process. You will assess the cards' condition based on your evaluation and insure the package accordingly. This ensures that your cards are covered in the event of any issues during transit.
Tracking and Notifications: While not required, it is encouraged to provide the tracking number to Galaxia Gaming TCG for added assurance. Upon the package's arrival at the facility, you will be notified, though there may be a brief delay between actual delivery and the system updating.
Shipping Timeline: There is no strict timeline for shipping your cards after payment. You can take your time to properly prepare and ship your cards without worrying about missing a deadline.

Notification of Receipt: After my cards have been retrieved and delivered to the cleaning station, you will notify me via the communication options associated with my selected tier. Scans of the cards will be provided within 1-5 business days, depending on the current queue.
Verification of Scans: Once I receive the Google Drive link with the scans, I will also receive a "Confirmation of Delivery" contract. This contract must be signed and returned to verify that all items have been received and are accurately represented in the scans. The cleaning process will not begin until this contract is signed, and any delay in returning the contract may result in a slower turnaround time.
Scheduling the Cleaning: After the signed "Confirmation of Delivery" is received, my submission will be assigned a cleaning timeslot. The actual start time of the cleaning will not be communicated to optimize the cleaning procedure.
Tier-Based Cleaning Priority: Submissions are prioritized based on the selected tier, with higher tiers receiving priority over lower ones. However, the cleaning process will not begin until the "Confirmation of Delivery" contract is signed, regardless of the tier.
Customer Communication During Cleaning: To maintain efficiency, I will only be notified once the cleaning process is complete. At that time, I will receive after-cleaning scans in the same Google Drive link, along with a condition or grade assessment if applicable to my tier.

After-Cleaning Scans: Once the cleaning process is completed, the after-cleaning scans and assessed condition or grade will be uploaded to the existing Google Drive link. You will be notified via the tier's communication method once the scans are available for review.
Assessed Condition or Grade: For raw assessments, you adhere to the "TCGPlayer Card Condition" guide, and for grade assessments, you follow the "PSA Grading Standard" guide. These assessments are conducted solely by you, using your expertise to provide the most accurate evaluation possible.
Completion of Service Contract: This contract will acknowledge that all cards in the submission have been cleaned and accounted for. It will not include an outline of the work done, but a video can be provided upon request, which may take additional time. After the contract is signed, the cards will be shipped back according to the selected tier and any add-ons.
Return Shipping: Cards will be shipped back within 2-5 business days after the "Completion of Service" contract is signed. You will receive tracking information through the tier's communication method, and this information will also be added to the Google Drive link.
Insurance During Return Shipping: The insurance that was purchased for the initial shipment will be applied to the return shipment, ensuring that the cards are covered during transit back to you.
Dispute Resolution: If you are not satisfied with the cleaning results or the assessed grade, you must address these concerns before signing the "Completion of Service" contract. Resolution options are limited and at the discretion of Galaxia Gaming TCG.
